		SRS can be used for the installation of decks using small pavers in any of several ways, with no compromising of drainage flow.   When the pavers are no smaller than 6"x6" and are primarily accent for larger pavers, we simply use a denser matrix of smaller (in plan view) pedestals.   When true interlocking size pavers are desired, we use SRS / Modified (see picture #3, below), in which a standard  matrix of pedestals is installed 1" below bottom-of-paver elevation and a 1" thick bed of fiberglass grating is installed on these.  After a thin layer of very porous geotextile is installed to mute any clicking sounds, any standard unit paver (see specific description in "Current Specification" link) can be installed.
