		The J.C. Penney HQ in Plano was the job on which SRS was invented in 1991.   The project involved approximately 50,000 square feet of Wausau slab pavers.  Because much of this area comprised elevated walks with transverse slopes (rather than longitudinal),  the pavers had to be installed over very steep slopes.   The extremeness of this situation would have made a stable installation impossible with any traditional plastic pedestal system.   Syrstone superintendent Dave Faulkner devised a means of installing these pavers.   Voila: The SRS Leveling System was born.
